The kalbi unmarinated is delicious. Bulgogi yum. Expect Asian style service bc only one person is server. But quality of meats, vegetables, and rice were on point. Will definitely be back with friends.
PS. For all new comers you need to order at least two of the same dishes for any family style grilling. -

Terrible service. Food isn't seasoned well. So everything is bland and cooked tough. The meat is very poor quality cheap meat. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went here last night for dinner with a few friends. This place is the epitome of a no frills establishment, but we came for the food that we had heard such good things about.
We split the Bulgogi and Kalbi (unmarinated).
Kalbi was tasty, definitely the best thing we had.
They are now BYOB which is nice. We learned this after she told us the opposite but there is a 7-Eleven a few blocks away so we picked up some booze.
Overall, I felt Chicago Kalbi was so, SO much better. Glad I tried this place for the experience but it fell a little short for me. -

Disclaimer: I did not eat the meat here, only the vegetarian options! Also, the receipt comes out in Korean... and they only accept 3 credit cards even though the menu stated they accepted 4?
First off, the outside of the restaurant does not display their name. I believe it only says Korean BBQ on the outside.
Service is less than desired. I love that this place is a mom and pop place. I love that this place seems authentically Korean. But man oh man, I think they pride themselves on the food here and not necessarily the service. My advice is just to be persistent?
Price: Pretty pricy. My friends did order the meat options. For every meat option, you have to order at least 2 servings even if you plan on ordering multiple types of meat. Why not just couple the size and call it 1 serving? The unmarinated special meat is about $35 so if you order the mandatory 2 servings, it comes out to $70. Soups and apps and bimbimbop prices are $12-20... so still not cheap.
Food: Everything I tasted was very good including the noodles (we ordered veggie only), bimbimbop, and seafood pancake. My friends enjoyed the meat options as well.
Great tasting food... I just wish the price and service were a little better.
